Pricing and negotiation are critical business skills for small business owners to increase sales which in turn increases cash flow. Come to this Women’s Success Lab to explore the simplest, and most overlooked strategy to increase sales and positive cash flow - raise your rates! Our Lab Leader Liz Lem will guide you through examples of how to price your services and then negotiate for that price.
Women’s Success Lab Format:
Held on Zoom every other month, the Women’s Success Lab is an environment to learn and practice essential business skills. Each Women’s Success Lab is 2 hours. It has 1 "networking" breakout room; 2 short presentations and 2 “practice what you learned” breakout rooms.

July’s Lab Leader is Liz Lem
Liz has a deep understanding of what makes a business a business. She has a talent for using easy to understand language so that entrepreneurs can begin to make better financial decisions that allow them to pay themselves; apply for loans, and build business value. Liz has volunteered at SCORE since 2014 and was recently recognized as 2022’s Champion of Women in Business by the San Diego SBA. Liz is also a proud member of the LGBTQI+ community and is happy to celebrate San Diego Pride Month.
July’s MC is Cally Ingebritson
Cally is an experienced Business Advisor, who has been with the Women’s Business Center since 2018. As a Business Advisor, Cally helps new business owners file the necessary paperwork to launch new businesses as well as leads workshops and business accelerators. Originally from Minnesota, Cally lived in Mexico, Colombia, and Spain before moving to San Diego and is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community. Outside her role at the Women’s Business Center, Cally has her own small business as a financial coach.
